How to check the price of the exact product variant

Confirm the selected size, color and quantity before comparing a catalog price with a seller’s offer.

Sources reviewed

A product listing can group several options on one page. The price can change when you select a different size, color or package. Shopify documents separate pricing for individual variants, and Google Merchant Center requires variant prices to match the corresponding offers on a product page. Read the selected option as one line

On the seller’s page, select the exact variant and record the item name, size, color, quantity and currency together. Check the words next to the price for what the amount covers. Confirm whether it is for a full item, one part of a set or an accessory. Use the same unit in both listings, such as one pair of shoes or one complete set.

Compare the same package

In a worked example, a listing shows 30 CNY for a spare strap and 150 CNY for the bag with its strap. A second listing shows 140 CNY for the same bag and strap. The comparable item prices are 150 and 140 CNY. Check domestic delivery for both offers before deciding which costs less to send to the warehouse.

Save the selection before ordering

Keep a screenshot that shows the selected option and its price in the same view. If the order preview shows a different option, compare it with the screenshot and ask the shopping agent to confirm the exact selection before you submit the order.
